ISOtherm is a breathable insulation solution designed for retrofit applications on solid walls. Unlike rigid foam boards or foil-backed systems that can trap moisture, ISOtherm allows water vapour to pass through and escape, reducing the risk of interstitial condensation and hidden damp.
At just 3mm thick, ISOtherm takes up virtually no usable space in the room. It raises the wall surface temperature by approximately 5 to 6 degrees, pushing the dew point back and reducing the conditions in which condensation forms. It also improves the wall’s U-value, meaning significantly less heat escapes through the structure. Customers who have ISOtherm fitted across multiple walls typically notice a clear difference in warmth and a visible reduction in condensation.
Typically recommended for solid-wall properties where external insulation is not practical: listed buildings, conservation area properties, mid-terrace homes and properties where the external appearance cannot be altered.
